about

I love the questions kids ask! One particular day my boy was on fire, asking so many! Put him to bed that night, went downstairs and wrote this song about it! If you have kids... you will certainly relate to this!

lyrics

Daddy can I ask you a question or two,
I said sure thats what I'm here for son - its what daddies do,
He said daddy this may take a while theres things I need to know,
I said sure just fire away my boy - he said... here I go.

How come Jimmy Young at school goes home and has two mummies?
And, how did these butterflies get into my tummy?
And, tell me daddy please - Is the tooth fairy real?
and the pain of losing nanny well, will that ever heal?
Whats the biggest number and whys the sky blue?
The kids dont talk to me at school daddy so, what should I do?
And I said son.... You better go ask your mum.

Where do babies come from and why do people die?
How come the next door neighbours kids have different colour skin to mine?
Why do ladybirds have spots and where did dinosaurs go?
And, where does the rainbow end? oh, I just don't know.
Why do I have to eat my vegetables and why do I need to blink?
And if I am a boy - how come my favourite colours pink?
And I just said....I think its time for bed.

Any thing you need my boy - you know I've been around for many years.
Anything I can help you with - you know your daddies always here... to help you.

So why does mummy say that I should not pee in the pool?
And, where do you go daddy when you drop me off at school?
What is it that makes people be mean to one another?
And, how come you and mummy have stopped living with each other?
I know God made us daddy - but who made God?
When I see Kayleigh Jones at school why does my tummy feel so odd?
I said... Rest your head against my shoulder....

I'll tell you when your'e older.
